Practice Everything
Practice. What does it mean to you? For most golfers, practice consists of going to a driving range to work on their swing. Unfortunately, this practice often does not include a trip to the golf putting green, or even any short range work with a golf alignment mat. Because of this, it may be beneficial to get a golf putting green, or just a putting training aid, in the backyard, as well as a golf stance mat.
“They might be able to beat me, but they can’t out-practice me.” -Jerry Barber
By taking this approach, all aspects of your game will be practiced. That means inconsistencies in one part of the game will be less likely to hurt you in a round.
